Building for the Next Generation

On a Sunday morning in the fall of 2024, we simply asked if anyone could help us think through improving our parking lot. After the service, someone walked up to Pastor Troy and said,
“I think we can help.”
From that simple conversation, God began opening doors far beyond anything we had imagined. What started as a parking lot discussion has become an opportunity to expand our campus and better serve future generations.
This isn’t our project. It’s God’s.

The Story of CCSR

2007
A Church is Planted
Calvary Chapel Solid Rock began with a simple desire to faithfully teach God’s Word and make disciples. Since those early days, the Lord has continued to grow the church and establish a thriving body of believers in San Antonio.
2013
A Church Home
After years of meeting in rented facilities, God faithfully provided a permanent church home. This new campus became a place where lives have been transformed, families have been strengthened, and the Gospel has been faithfully proclaimed.
2020
God's Faithful Provision
By God’s grace and the generosity of His people, the church property was paid off in full. This milestone allowed Calvary Chapel Solid Rock to move forward with greater freedom as the Lord continued to open new doors for ministry.
2022
Preparing for the Future
As God continued to grow the church, it became clear that additional space would be needed to better serve the congregation and reach future generations. What began as conversations about improving the property soon developed into a much larger vision for expanding the campus.
Today
Building for the Next Generation
Construction is now underway as God continues to faithfully provide for this exciting new chapter. We look forward to seeing how He will use these expanded facilities to proclaim His Word, disciple believers, and serve our community for years to come.
