God's Doing Something Exciting!
2013
In 2013, after holding church services at a Lutheran church, funeral home and a movie theatre, God provided a church home for us and in January of 2013 we moved in. We were excited and blessed to have our own church building. Through the years we have watched God grow our church congregation. We went from 1 service, to 2 services and in 2022 we added our 3rd Sunday morning service.
2020
Being faithful with what God had blessed us with, a few years before Covid we became debt free by paying off the property! So when Covid hit we were able to keep things going aside from the several Sundays of a short mandated close. During this time we learned that people missed worshipping together, live teaching and being a church family, so we started back with spaced indoor seating and an outdoor livestream projection service. God even used Covid to grow our church, we had a whole new crowd come through the doors.
2022
In 2022 we began praying about what to do about space issues. We looked into buildings being sold and those doors never opened for us, after time we felt the Lord's direction was to make best use of the space and area that He has provided for us. He has always taken care of us so we knew He would continue to. We stopped looking and wanted to honor God by being the best stewards we could be with our church home on Silverwood making the most of every nook and cranny we have.
God's Plans!
In the Fall of 2024 on a Sunday morning, we asked for contractors and engineers to help us brainstorm how we could fix our parking lot. We wanted to make it better for everyone coming to church. This was a true BUT GOD moment after one of our services someone walked over to Pastor Troy and said, "I think we can help," and from that Sunday morning, God's plans for Solid Rock surpassed any and every dream we had ever had to make space. He keeps blowing our minds with every step we take forward in faith and obedience to what He keeps laying out in front of us. This is truly God's project!
We are excited to share that we are currently in the beginning phase of construction. We will soon be tearing down our Student Building and building a two story building to allow more seating capacity, this will also allow bigger classrooms for our nursery and Sunday School kids. Our coffee team will have more space, we are able to provide a nursing room for moms, more space for our media team and a space we are very excited about - A Prayer Room! We now have a spot to go to, to pray with those who need prayer, this is definitely an answer to prayer!

Solid Rock has been growing and we are excited to move into our new building! God has blessed us immensely since the start of Solid Rock in 2007 and He continues to do so in so many different ways.
