Where there is no vision the people perish

Proverbs 29:18

Calvary Chapel has been formed as a fellowship of believers under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Our greatest desire is to know Christ and be conformed to His image by the power of the Holy Spirit. We are not a denominational church, nor are we opposed to denominational churches. We just prefer not to focus on doctrinal differences that lead to divisions in the Body of Christ.

Our Mission:

Calvary Chapel Solid Rock desires to lead people to Christ, to help them grow in His Word and to provide opportunities for them to serve and represent Him to others.

Our Vision:

Calvary Chapel Solid Rock is here to help people understand and apply God's Word to their life, home and work so that they shine as a light in their sphere if influence.

Our Purpose:

Upreach: To Know

Inreach: To Grow

Outreach: To Sow

We believe that loving God is man's highest calling. Our relationship with Him is our biggest priority, All ministry that we engage in flows out of that relationship.
As members of a spiritual family, we seek to equip one another for service. Our training and growth is rooted in the Bible, as we consider it to be the "owner's manual" for life.
We desire to go into the world and share the Gospel, thus adding to the Kingdom of God. We believe that God has given every Christian a "sphere of influence" in which to make an impact.

Our Values:

  • Aim for Excellence
And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. Col. 3:23-24

  • Support Each Other
Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, for he has no one to help him up. Ecc. 4:9-10

  • Err on the Side of Grace
And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. Eph. 4:32

  • Trust the Lord to Direct
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths. Prov. 3:5-6
